As you can see there is a lot of work and effort in starting a business but the rewards can be great.

Over the years in many majority African American (Black) cities, many foreigners have set up shop in black neighborhoods, one of the reasons that this has happen is because a lack of status. Many people do not feel that owning a neighborhood business is honorable enough. Look people do not go into business not to make money they are making money and providing for their families.

Take a look around your neighborhood especially in the inner cities and see how many black business that you cater to on a regular bases, how many are black managed. owned. The biggest lie circulating over the generations is that black people are cheats, liars and thieves and that they charge too much, have you really ever compared a black store owner prices with another kind of store owner?  and also how much was the difference 5 cents 10 cents, if this is the case then is it not worth it? not only  are we contributing to the owners well being but the community in which we  live it is good and a proud moment to see a black man or woman own there own business. We need to get serious about supporting each other,  break this generational curse and communicate with the owner if something is not right.

Are you going to be the brave soul to buck the trend, it may be too late to set up the exact kind of business in the neighborhood then maybe it's not; you will be surprised how many businesses that are for sale in your neighborhood, this is why it is good to be informed. Find a good commercial real estate broker, or look in the news paper and see if that store or business in your hood is for sale, Of course they are not going to but up a for sale sign, this is why we have to learn and find out the information that we need.
