There are many factors that can keep a person from getting a quality education:
Planning and Preparing for College (Scholarships, Internships, Etc) great source: The Educational Ladder Basic education :is education that is from pre school through 8 grade and teaches basic skills reading writing math skills. Parents should start preparing their child for high school when they start middle school, by watching what there interest are listening to there goals and dreams, also taking them to a career planning centers at your local library where they have career planning test to show what interest that your child may have, anyone can use this it is fun and useful information. High School: Is the launch pad into adult hood this time of life goes by so quickly that it makes your head spin, but during this time it is important to know what your Childs intentions are don't hound them just encourage them in the direction that they may go. Many may not choose to go to college there are other ways to make a living, you have to help them find it. This is also a good time for them to get a part time job when they come of age for it will; build skills that they need in adult hood. Vocational / Technical School: As stated earlier some people do not have the desire nor the time to go to a four year college but there are courses that you can take for as little a s six months to a year. The major key in choosing these type of schools is to 1) make sure this is something you really want to do, one of the worst feelings in the world is to spend time and money on something that you do not like. 2) Make sure that the school is reputable and that there are not many compliant about the school, you can find out from the better business bureau and also check with your state department of education. 3) watch out for student loans, when you really look at it see if this education will be worth going into debt for a dead or dying field. 4) don't believe the hype find out for yourself if the field you are choosing is really wide open and available. There are quite a few schools that will take advantage of you and leave you holding the bag a large student loan a no pay check or a low paying job. Junior colleges: Teach technical and specialized skills and offer a two year associate degree this is for those who can not yet afford a 4 year education yet but want to get their feet wet, and move on to 4 year college latter. A good why to take a small step instead of a leap. sometimes step by step is best. Colleges: Provides a person to obtain a bachelor, and help build their skills to be in management or be recognized as a n expert in their field. Preparing for a rewarding career. Universities: Offer graduate education programs to obtain masters and doctors degree in arts science and medicine In conclusion there are many steps in getting what you want some are long some are short it depends on which direction you want to go. You have to take the step too living thee life that you desire, not what others think you should have or not have. Our community have so many nay-sayers, but if each one of use do our part in taking care of our selves then we can be able to help others.
