What is Your Fear About Money?

As we go through life we learn early on in childhood that money is important. We learn that it can get the things that we want like candy, cookies, a favorite toy etc.. Our minds are so open with possibilities of all the great things that we can get; but in this early stage of life we also learn the dreaded word NO! or "we don't have enough to get that baby". This is the first reality of life and as we continue on our journey we learn that many times there is not enough. 

As Black people we have faced many challenges and have had victories on the way, Unfortunately at times in our history when a group of Blacks (African Americans) desired to build something, the laws have been changed or the rules have been changed or we have been swindled or hood winked. This can and has created a lot of fear within our communities, also something that is very disturbing when those who want to rob or still or kill  a person who is trying to make a living this is so said that we have to have all of these concerns. 

This is why it is so important to educate ourselves and share, pass on the knowledge that we accumulate to others. We know that  economic wisdom  may fall on deaf ears because you have some people who just don't want to do right. Yet and still we should not give up and continue to educate ourselves and keep up with the latest trends and changes, we also as a people can become self contained in a way, despite not owning any wholesale companies or many factorys we can still learn how to build and sale and trade in real estate and community based businesses. 

There are those who are so skeptical that they would not stand behind progress if it killed them, I'm sure that you have come across these type of people. Despite  the many obstacles our rich story tells us that we are survivors, there are those who just are plan old selfish and would not like to see black people establish a strong vibrant economic foundation even among our own, this is why it is so very important to start teaching our young people and practicing sound financial wisdom. This is not an easy road because we have been so limited in our thinking it is time to break the mental chains and relive our selves of financial burdens and unnecessary debt. It is time to stop being afraid of failing or even worse being afraid to succeed. Sometimes we have to make a choice when we begin to progress in our personal lives, many have been accused of "acting white" the question is if a person want to have decent things for themselves and there loved ones is this acting white? furthermore if a person decides that they want to go to college and get a descent education is this acting white? if a person decide to open up a business in the neighborhood and it is successful is this acting White? If it is then we need to add that we are also acting Chinese, Korean , Arab, Indian and every other group that are trying to live a decent life for themselves and their families it is time to be open mined, You are here because you are ready for a change Blackprosperity is about you the African American Male and Female It is about family, community and generational wealth. Just think before you living this planet that you did  all that you could to help those you love and those friends and neighbors that helped you along they way? It is up to you the one who is reading this right now to try with every thing that you have to turn your ship around and set a course for greatness not only for yourself but your family and the generations that will come after.
